The Mission of Future Hope is to provide education and career opportunities to poverty stricken communities through the use of technology. Future Hope will:
- Utilize technology and the Internet to provide training and support through local mentors, online training, and person-to-person communication. Local mentors would be trained by the local church community network.
- Introduce basic business skills to the communities.
- Introduce opportunities for the communities to accept contract technical work from established firms.
- Aid the communities in achieving self-sustainability of the program in a few years time frame.
Future Hope is a Christian organization and this is our statement of faith:
- There is only one true God, the creator and sustainer of all
things, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit.
- All humans are created in the image of God to live in holiness.
However, all humans have sinned and are thus under a curse, alienated
from God, each other, and creation, and justly subject to the wrath
of God.
- The Son, known as Jesus Christ, is both fully human and fully
divine. Unique among all humans, He was miraculously born of a virgin
by the Holy Spirit, and lived a life without sin, demonstrating His deity through teaching, holy living, supernatural signs, and acts of
love.
- Jesus Christ voluntarily suffered and died an undeserved death, and
by doing so, vicariously atoned for all the sins of all humans across
all time. He then rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to a state
of glory at the right hand of the Father.
- Reconciliation with God, and freedom from the curses caused by sin,
are available to all humans who repent of their sin and put their
faith in Jesus Christ alone. This transaction occurs by the grace of
God, completely independent from any other good work, character
trait, or religious ceremony. Furthermore, no other path to such
reconciliation exists, apart from faith in Jesus Christ.
- All humans who have thus been reconciled to God through Jesus
Christ are eligible and called to live by the indwelling Holy Spirit,
Who confirms the testimony of the believer, enables righteous and
fruitful living, and releases gifts of power that enable the believer
to glorify God by doing His will on earth.
- The Church is the unique and unified entity composed of all humans,
both living and dead, who have thus been reconciled to God. It has one head and authority figure, Jesus Christ. Its central callings are
the corporate worship of God, and the making of disciples of Jesus
Christ locally and throughout the world.
- The Holy Scriptures of the Bible, as originally inspired by the
Holy Spirit, compose the unique written revelation of God to
humankind. These Scriptures are entirely trustworthy as the Word of
God, and the supreme authority in all matters on which they speak.
- Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to reign
victorious, establishing a new heaven and a new earth. He will judge
all humans, both living and dead, bodily resurrecting the reconciled
to eternal glory, and all others to eternal condemnation.
